4th FIDE World Chess Championship for Disabled People - Open in Cardiff in Wales, 26.11 – 04.12.2019 in the IPCA

Dear Chess Friends, I invite you to participation in the 4th FIDE World Chess Championship for Disabled People - Open 2019 in Cardiff in Wales, 26.11 – 04.12.2019 in the IPCA Section. This tournament is continue of same tournaments which took place till now in Dresden in 2013, 2015, 2017 and was planned firstly in this year in Moscow, in October 2019.

This tournament is organized together with the 1st FIDE World Disabled – Cadet and Youth Chess Championship 2019.

The 4th FIDE WCCfD 2019 is organized for disabled chess players in three Sections (blind, deaf and physically disabled persons) from the Chess Federations: IBCA, ICCD and IPCA.

In the tournament each of the three Sections can have one or more national teams consisting of 4 players from the same country. The classification of teams will be determined on the basis of sum of points of 4 players from particular team in the final individual classification.

I inform that everyone IPCA chess player who has minimum 50% of physical disability can take part in the IPCA Section in this tournament.

Registration to the tournament is opened from 5th July 2019 and registration deadline is 26th October 2019.

In this tournament there will take part the IPCA chess players from Russia and other countries with the IPCA President, Mrs. Svetlana Gerasimova (Russia) as the Head of IPCA delegation.

Please inform also others physically disabled chess players about this tournament.
